Dr. Aditya Maitray
Dr. Aditya graduated in medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, MS from Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. He then completed research-cum-clinical fellowship in Vitreo-Retina from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He joined as a medical officer in vitreoretina department at Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai on 2018.
Dr. Aditya has 5 publications in peer reviewed international journals and 6 publications in Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. He is currently involved in 3 research projects and 1 book chapter which are under review. He has also participated in various national vitreoretina speciality meetings.
Dr. Aditya won the award for Best Outgoing Postgraduate in Ophthalmology in May 2015. He won the Best Vitreoretinal Research Fellow Award, Year 2015-2016, at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. His paper on Surgical Refixation of Posteriorly Dislocated Intraocular Lens with Scleral-Tuck technique won the Best paper Award at Cataract catalyst 2017, Chennai.
