"Kannoli" is a monthly Tamil magazine that is dedicated to the spread of awareness on eye diseases and blindness control in the community. A special emphasis is given to eye health, common eye diseases and treatment methods in this magazine. Its main aim is to spread this information to people from all walks of life, to keep them informed of the availability of eye care services, and to prevent blindness. Therefore, the articles are carefully chosen and presented with the readers in mind.

This magazine also describes various types of eye diseases, such as cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and their treatment. Scientific advancement in treatment methods, such as Lasik and laser treatment, which are available at our hospital, is discussed. This magazine provides Aravind staff with the opportunity to share their wealth of experience in eye care delivery and the importance of eye care services rendered.
