Dear colleague,
We have great pride and pleasure in inviting you for the paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus update to be held in Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai in commemoration of the silver jubilee celebrations of our paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus department in Madurai.
Our department is unique in that it was the first of its kind to be set up in India with extensive community outreach services. Since its inception in 1984, the entire team was involved in various initiative directed towards the prevention and elimination of childhood blindness. Significant strides have been made in the past two decades resulting in refinement of clinical and surgical techniques and consequently improvement in outcomes.
Eminent and renowned experts from around the world are to deliberate on the current trends in the understanding and managements of Key topics. This update will provide a forum for PG residents, fellows, comprehensive ophthalmologists and paediatric ophthalmologist to clarify their doubts and
hone their clinical skills.
