Aravind-Tirunelveli, August 30-31
A two day CME on Essentials in Orbit, Oculoplasty and Oncology was organized at Aravind-Tirunelveli on August 30-31, under the able guidance of Dr.Usha Kim. The Program was co-coordinated by Dr.Maneksha. The field of Orbit & Oculoplasty has undergone a revolutionary sea change and the main purpose of this CME was to get familiarized with the changes and update them. Ophthalmologists representing various States of our Country, Postgraduates and Fellows, Trainees from our Hospital attended the CME. Experts like Radiologists, Plastic Surgeons, Neuro Surgeons, and ENT Specialists were invited as Faculties to discuss the recent advances and developments at a great length. The inaugural function commenced with prayer song, lighting of Kuthuvilakku by Dr.R.Ramakrishnan, Dr.Usha Kim, Dr.Ram Mohan, Dr.Vijirangarajan and Dr.Manju. Later Dr.R.Ramakrishnan, Chief Medical Officer of Tirunelveli welcomed the Faculty members and the Delegates for the two day CME.
This CME paved way for better understanding of the changes in the field of Orbit, Oculoplasty and Oncology and also immensely benefited and enriched the delegates.
