ARAVIND EYE HOSPITAL - PONDICHERRY
Inaugurated in 2003, Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry has grown to accommodate 137 paying patients and 465 free patients. The hospital is well equipped and designed in a way that would help Aravind maintain its standard in providing eyecare service. It serves a population of 21.6 million covering the districts Tiruvallur, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram and Cuddalore.
Aravind- Pondicherry handled 398,946 outpatient visits and performed 43,428 surgeries from April 2010 - March 2011.
